Cross Marker and The Sunken Cemetery

Brgy. Bonbon, Catarman, Camiguin Island

April 16, 2013 (bucketlist checked!) It was a dream come true to touch down this historical place in this little island of Camiguin. I always want to see how it looks like, what is in there, how big is the cross.. etc, etc. And Thank God I have answered all my questions first hand.

You can rent a bangka for 100 pesos if you wanna see up close the cross marker, in there you can have a good view of the old volcano and the mt hibok2x, you can take illusion pictures like these! (refer pix above)

A huge cross marker has been installed by the Provincial government to mark the community cemetery that sunk during the 1871 volcanic holocaust. Years ago, gravestones were visible during low tide. Today, it is an interesting diving site.
